How to play 2048 Ball
- Choose a skin theme on the home screen and press Play now.
- Move the mouse in the playfield to aim. Hold Space to charge while adjusting your aim, then release Space to shoot. You can also short-click to shoot once, or hold the mouse to keep shooting and release to stop. On touchscreens, press to aim, drag down for power and release to shoot. Arrow keys also aim and adjust power.
- Bring equal numbers together: 2 + 2 makes 4, 4 + 4 makes 8, and so on. Look at the next two balls before you shoot.
- Keep the stack below the dashed line. A ball settled above it for 2.5 seconds ends the round.
Jelly, crystal and fruit ball themes
Play 2048 with colorful jelly balls, sparkling crystals or fruit artwork. All three themes are free and use the same merging rules, ball sizes and score system.
Choose a theme on the home screen between rounds. There are no unlock tasks or accounts to create.

Is this the classic 4×4 2048 puzzle?
2048 Merge uses the same doubling numbers, with a physics playfield and aiming instead of sliding a grid of tiles. Matching balls merge on contact.
How can I merge balls into 2048?
Bring equal numbers together: 2 + 2 makes 4, then 8, 16 and onward to 2048. Check the next two balls before shooting, leave space around matching pairs and use gentler shots when a ball only needs a small nudge. Keep room below the danger line for the next launch.
How does the high score work?
Your personal best is saved in this browser. Clearing browser storage removes it; it does not sync across devices. Each new round starts with an empty cup. Merge points follow the number’s power of two: making 4 earns 2 points, making 8 earns 3, and making 2048 earns 110 before the combo multiplier. Consecutive merges add combo multipliers; higher merges keep the 10× bonus.
Can I invite a friend without signing up?
Yes. Invite a friend shares or copies a link with your selected theme and a score to beat. Your friend can start immediately. The link does not create a profile or upload your score.
Can I play on mobile without downloading an app?
Yes. Open the game in your mobile browser, use one finger to aim and release to shoot. No app installation is needed. Leaving the game or switching tabs pauses the round.
